Christ’s Community Church

ON MISSION

Damou Christian Mission

Damou Christian Mission has served Haiti for the past 28 years.  Their original ministry was a school for 20 students in Pre-K through High School, but they have grown to serve additional needs of the Haitian people.  The school now has over 1000 students and a church with 300+ members. In addition to the school and the church, there is now an assisted-living facility for senior citizens called The Village of Hope, and they started two orphanages after the earthquake.

The Aruna Project

The Aruna Project

By providing empowerment through employment, the Aruna Project creates lifelong freedom marked by holistic care for victims of sex trafficking. Aruna products are crafted in freedom by skilled Artisans who are finding their voice, experiencing independence, and growing with a sisterhood of others who have overcome.

José Angel Lopez

Angel Lopez grew up in Chiapas, Mexico, where RCA missionaries shared the gospel and cared for those in need. Now, Angel collaborates with Frontera de Gracia. Angel educates people about the border situation and provides advocacy resources for immigrants. He also works with congregations to develop Christian witnesses who embrace and build relationships with migrants in their sojourner process.

Youth Assistance Program

Hamilton County Youth Assistance serves as an early intervention advocate for youth ages 3-17 who are facing challenging life circumstances. They take a holistic approach to coordinate our community’s vast array of talents, services, and resources to help youth and empower parents and caregivers. Fishers Youth Assistance Program (FYAP) provides professional, family-centered casework and referral services to students and families who reside within the Hamilton Southeastern School District.

The Aruna Project

Hamilton County Coat Drive

We participate in the local coat drive each year to help kids and families in our community stay warm through the winter months. You’ll be hearing from us again once the leaves begin to change. This past year our little church was able to provide over 80 coats and warm weather supplies to people who needed them.

Hands of Hope

Every day vulnerable children are living outside the care of safe and loving families. In the last year, Hands of Hope has helped over 3400 children experience safety and love. We believe God calls all of us to do something. You can serve, pray, or give.

As child-serving professionals at the Department of Child Services and other local agencies uncover critical needs, the Hands of Hope CarePortal brings the tangible, real-time needs of hurting children and families in your community to your attention. CarePortal makes local churches like CCC aware, giving us an opportunity to respond.
