In an individualistic culture, community pushes against the grain. In the Kingdom of God, we recognize our need for one another. As it says in Genesis, “It is not good to be alone.” At CCC we have a number of groups designed to bring people together. We believe that when we’re in the presence of other believers we are in the presence of Jesus. Let us help you find a community to belong to, to be known by, and to help you grow as a follower of Jesus.
Community Groups are a central part of life at CCC. Our groups meet at various times and places throughout the week. Some are more oriented around friendships and food where others are focused more on study. Whatever you interest, we’ve got a group for you.
Coffee Break is a women’s Bible study that meets on Tuesday mornings from 9:45 to 11:30 a.m. On the third Tuesday of the month Coffee Break visits Harbor Manor Nursing home instead of meeting. The group is open to all ages, meets at the church, and children are welcome. Please not that Coffee Break only meets during the school year, but does visit Harbor Manor year round. Check the calendar to make sure if they are meeting.
